The Lace Ellies are so beautiful in person. They look just as beautiful as the photos and fabric feels so soft and supple despite being lace which can sometimes feel scratchy. A couple reviews said to order your true size as the lace looks better with less stretch, so I ordered my true size (L) and the dress felt very large and constantly slipped down as I tried it on with a satin slip underneath. I also have a 36E chest, but the dress still felt large to my liking. I'd recommend getting one size down from your typical size, especially since these aren't lined underneath. Overall I would highly recommend - they are gorgeous dresses and can be dressed up or down! Just make sure to order one size down from your true size or your typical Ellie size!

I purchased this dress despite the reviews of it being so see through. I had already bought a black silk midi length slip dress from Johnny Was, I didn’t have a dress for it but knew I might need it someday .I put the black tulle nap dress over it and it worked out perfectly. They are the perfect pair together. It swings with such air. I really did feel like a Princess.

I ordered. Size Med. I am a 34DD and weigh 133, I’m 5’2 and it is perfect. So perfect. I wish I would have ordered it sooner. I now want one in a pink or blue or ivory.
