Meet the Daphne Dress, a more structured, dressed-up version of our bestselling Ellie Nap Dress®.
Crafted from our classic 100% cotton poplin, Daphne features smocking on the back, a slightly scooped neckline, a flowy circle skirt, and our signature ruffled sleeves.
Kind of like a picnic, but prettier. This large-scale gingham features tonal rows of colored checks plus textured diamonds woven throughout.

RETURNS
-Free domestic returns. Products in their original packaging are eligible for return within 15 days of delivery. More info
SHOE RETURNS
-Shoes that show any visible signs of wear will not be accepted for return (ex. dirt, stains, scuffs, fabric frays, and indentation on the leather).
-We ask that you take extra care when trying on our shoes for the first time. Please wear them on a soft, clean surface (a carpet or rug, etc.), and do not wear them outdoors until you know you love them.
-To qualify for a return, shoes must also include the original shoebox in like-new condition. Any shoes returned without the box or in a damaged shoe box will be rejected for return. More info.

Absolutely love the shape of this dress and especially love the LINER. Hill House should really start lining all their dresses, takes away a lot of stress of finding the right slip. This dress also has a zipper so it's not as stretchy as the nap dress. I ordered my normal L instead of my M for the nap dress. The bodice is beautiful and flattering.
Docked a star as the bust area is tighter than expected and I had checked the measurements prior to purchasing. Hoping with a little weight loss will resolve it.

For the size guide to say that a XXL bust is for 48-50 I would definitely say it runs small in that area. I have a size 42 bust with a C cup and to say there was not enough room to properly accommodate my bust is an understandtment. It is a gorgeous dress and I will likely keep it if I can find a way to properly accommodate that area however for the cost of the dress I would definitely expect a more consistent sizing and not having to do things such as accommodate for my bust.

I love this new edition of Daphne - she's lined with a light, comfortable cotton. The fit is better than Summer 2022's Daphne, it's more stretchy and fits much more true to size. I went with my street size and it fits perfectly. The corset is so flattering.
Please continue lining dresses, and releasing Daphne in new prints. She's my new favorite!
