      Beautiful Jacket.

This jacket is beautiful! I’m 5’4” and 150lbs and I got the medium and it fits perfectly. I usually struggle with Hill House jackets being too long in the arms, but I was glad that I won’t have to take this jacket to get altered.

      Feels luxe!

So I ordered this in a 2XL, and I typically wear a size 22/24W. It fits beautifully! My only gripe is that it is a tad snug in the arm opening, but nothing a tailor can’t fix in 20 minutes. The pictures don’t do it justice! The tweed has so many beautiful pastel colors in it, including a pretty yellow! I will definitely be wearing this all fall and all winter. Perfection! Oh also, the fabric composition is so lovely. It’s soft and silky on the inside, but light weight and breathable. The outside is soft, but feels like luxe tweed. 10/10 recommend!

      So chic!!

Wore this over a nap dress tonight and it made the whole outfit look so polished and chic! The lace is very high quality and not itchy at all. Great jacket option when it’s too hot for a jean jacket or cardigan but still a little chilly.

Versatile jacket with high quality details

I had my eye on this jacket from the first promo pictures. The IRL lives up to my expectations. I ordered my usual size for HHH, and the jacket fit exactly as pictured. I’m busty with athletic shoulders; so the fit wasn’t a given! The lace is very soft to the touch, not scratchy, but reassuringly substantial. The main seams inside the jacket are reinforced/covered with a thin grosgrain ribbon or are frenched — important details for a jacket with so much transparency. The jeweled top button is extremely sparkly - looks like designer costume jewelry. These finishes are basically impossible to find elsewhere at this price point. I’d only expect these details on high end clothes or fine vintage. I’m overall very pleased with the jacket’s design and finishes. It does feel versatile like a Jean jacket, however I think it looks best with sleeveless or long sleeve tops or underneath, rather than a t-shirt, because it is transparent through the arms and a t-shirt sleeve in a bright color kind of messes up the line of the sleeves. One negative - like all HHH cotton products, I wish we were given more detailed supply chain transparency, especially given the country of origin. The small, vague disclosure on the website doesn’t reassure me that the fabric is woven and assembled with fair labor practices. Additionally, for a piece like this with unique lace fabric, more supply chain transparency could be a selling point if we could learn where this fabric was woven and manufactured.
