Meet the Maude Sweater Dress. The Maude has a fitted body which flares out slightly at the hips and voluminous blouson sleeves. The fabric provides a slight stretch. It can be worn two ways—off the shoulders or as a wide boat-neck style.

RETURNS
-Free domestic returns. Products in their original packaging are eligible for return within 15 days of delivery. More info
SHOE RETURNS
-Shoes that show any visible signs of wear will not be accepted for return (ex. dirt, stains, scuffs, fabric frays, and indentation on the leather).
-We ask that you take extra care when trying on our shoes for the first time. Please wear them on a soft, clean surface (a carpet or rug, etc.), and do not wear them outdoors until you know you love them.
-To qualify for a return, shoes must also include the original shoebox in like-new condition. Any shoes returned without the box or in a damaged shoe box will be rejected for return. More info.

If you're on the fence, get it — it's really a beautiful dress and feels so elegant to wear. The fit is snug (in a good way) at the bodice and slim through the hips before it flares out. I love the shape because many sweater dresses can lean toward an oversized look but this fits so well. The fabric is thick but not inordinately heavy, so I imagine I'll be able to wear it throughout the mild Southern fall and winter without getting too hot.
