About the PrintWe worked with artist Leïla Dubus to create this watercolor cannage print, inspired by Nantucket Lightship Baskets. These handwoven baskets were originally made by sailors aboard lightships off the coast of Nantucket in the 19th Century, and are characterized by their intricate weaving techniques and expert craftsmanship.
Today, Nantucket Lightship Baskets make valuable collector’s items – a unique combination of maritime tradition and expert craftsmanship.

SHOE RETURNS
-Shoes that show any visible signs of wear will not be accepted for return (ex. dirt, stains, scuffs, fabric frays, and indentation on the leather).
-We ask that you take extra care when trying on our shoes for the first time. Please wear them on a soft, clean surface (a carpet or rug, etc.), and do not wear them outdoors until you know you love them.
-To qualify for a return, shoes must also include the original shoebox in like-new condition. Any shoes returned without the box or in a damaged shoe box will be rejected for return. More info.

I love this style, and the sateen fabric is the perfect weight and major skirt swing for it to feel extra special. The woven blue rattan pattern is also amazing.
Based on reviews I expected the fit to be looser, and for me this seems to be very accurate for sizing. The ruched top is even snug around my bust area (32 C) I couldn’t have done the recommended size-down at all.
Overall happy I stuck to my size and tried this special version - no napping for me in this dress!

I wanted this dress as soon as I saw it previewed in the Summer Lookbook, and was too slow on drop day to get on in my size before it sold out. I stalked and stalked the site, and was finally able to get my size a few weeks later.
I wanted to love it so badly, but despite the beautiful print and high quality fabric, I can't justify keeping it with such an odd fit. The straps connect in the front underneath my armpits... why are they so widely set apart?!? I'm confused - do I have exceptionally narrow shoulders? I've never had trouble with straps or sleeves before, but most of the HHH Nap dresses I've tried have sleeves that are so wide apart that they fall off my shoulders (except the Nesli because of the back-tie, RIP). Of all the styles I've tried, the Seraphina's straps are the widest apart. They don't fall off because they're adjustable, they just look odd on me.
If you're broad-shouldered, you should definitely try this dress - it is beautiful! Otherwise you might run into the same issue with the straps that I did.
