The Azalea Maxi Nap Dress

I LOVE this dress I just wish it wasn’t maxi! I’m 5’3” and it is 2-3” off the ground. I know the listing says maxi but it felt too long on me. Hoping this silhouette will come out in midi or ellie length! Otherwise great dress. Love that it gives you more of a waist unlike the ellie and I appreciate the lining. Returning and hoping for a shorter length. Went for my ellie and corinne dress size - xs and it’s true to that size. 118lb and 5’3”

I absolutely love the Azalea. I had high hopes for the Kimmy, but that style was not for me. BUT, the Azalea is a beautiful cut. I found the smoking to be more fitted than the Kimmy (and similar to my Elllies) which I love. The smocking also comes down a bit longer in a flattering way. I am short waisted, a 32D, and I wear a size 4/6 and XS in the Ellie. I went with a small, and it was perfect.

Love the style I did find the smocking not as tight and straps a little loose, maybe too long. The skirting not as full but hits me right above my ankles for this 5’9” girl. I feel like I could have gone down to a medium to help with smocking and straps but might have been too tight around waist for me. Overall I like and decided to keep.

This silhouette is so pretty and flattering! Love the extra tier of smocking at the waist and the shoulder straps. To me the style is a more chic version of Ellie. If you’re petite you’ll probably want to shorten this. I’m 5’2” and cut 6” in the size Medium, which is my usual Ellie size. The simple skirt makes this easy to alter!
