Sizing & Product Information

The Nap Dress™ is our signature garment; soft, comfortable, and pretty enough to wear all day and night. Flattering on all body types, and lovely enough for life’s most festive occasions, this dream of a dress is also wrinkle-free and comfy enough to sleep in.
For our original Nap Dress Styles (Ellie, Athena, Nesli, and Caroline), we recommend sizing down from your traditional dress size. Our Nap Dresses are made with elastic smocking that is super stretchy, so even if you have a larger bust, a smaller size might still be the best fit.

The Nap Dress is also designed to be pregnancy and breastfeeding friendly in your typical size. The elasticated smocking stretches with your growing bump. For nursing access postpartum, simply pull down the elastic neckline.

The best way to find our Nap Dress size is to go off of your bust measurement.

Additional details and sizing recommendations for each individual style can be found on the item pages for each dress.
Depending on the material they are made of, all Nap Dresses require a different method of care. While some are made to be machine-washable, others need to be dry-cleaned. For best results, please follow the instructions on your care tag or on the individual Nap Dress’s Item Page.

To keep your elastic in perfect condition, we do not recommend hanging The Nap Dress™ by the elasticated straps.
The majority of our items are limited edition. However, any returns received will be automatically added back to our website.

The best way to be notified of the exact moment of launches and restocks is to sign up for our email or text notifications at hillhousehome.com. We announce to email and text subscribers first.

Orders & Shipping

Hill House Home offers domestic and international shipping
All Hill House Home, all orders are shipped via FedEx Ground from our warehouse located in New Jersey. There will be a 3-5 Day processing time before shipping notifications are sent to the email on the order.
  • Once Shipped:
    • 1-3 day estimated shipping time for East Coast
    • 7-10 day estimated shipping time for Central or West Coast
  • Monogram Orders:
    • Monogrammed orders take 4-8 weeks to be completed (this does not include shipping time)
  • Pre-Orders:
    • Pre-order items will be charged on the date of order placement. Pre-Order wait time does not include processing and shipping time. Once the merchandise is received within the warehouse, your order will be processed and shipped via FedEx Ground.
If you have not received your shipping notification, you can reach out to our customer care team at customercare@hillhousehome.com to see if an order change request can be accommodated.
You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email that includes your tracking number once your order is packaged at our warehouse. Tracking links generally need 48–72 business hours to be updated with tracking information.

You can also find your tracking information by logging into your Hill House Home account and navigating to your Orders.
Orders generally take two to three business days to process before they are shipped. We'll send you a shipping confirmation email once your order has shipped.

We do our very best to ship orders as quickly as possible, as a result, some items may ship separately. If you wish to ship all your items at once, you can select “gift” at checkout. This will ensure that all items will ship together in the same parcel. All international orders will be shipped together.

We offer free Ground Shipping on domestic orders $100+
International shipping is available at a flat fee that includes shipping, duty fees, and taxes. No additional fees after checkout will be charged.

If your order is marked as delivered, but you still don't have your new Hill House Home pieces, a few things may have occurred:
Your delivery person put your package somewhere discreet to make sure no one steals it—behind a plant, under a bush, we've seen it all (and appreciate their thoughtfulness).
Your delivery person marked your package as delivered a few days in advance, and the package may still be on the way.
A neighbor or roommate may have accepted the package for you.
If the above doesn't apply and you can't find the package, please double-check your shipping address on your order confirmation to ensure that the order was shipped to the correct address.
If the package is marked as delivered and still hasn’t shown up after seven business days, please let customercare@hillhousehome.com know.

Returns & Exchanges

To be eligible for return or exchange, items must be in original, unworn, unwashed condition with all tags and liners intact. Final sale items are not eligible for return or exchange (final sale items are noted on the product page and include all monogrammed items). To receive a full refund, your return must be placed in the mail within 15 days of your original delivery date.

Shipping costs on the original order are not refundable. Refunds are issued to the original payment method on the order, which may include gift cards if one was used.

US returns & exchanges
For eligible items, we are happy to offer free returns and exchanges within 15 days from the delivery date. To make a return or exchange, please visit returns.hillhousehome.com to generate a prepaid return label.

International returns & exchanges
For international returns, please use your own shipping label and share the tracking number and carrier with customercare@hillhousehome.com within 15 days of your original delivery date. Please use the following address for your return and visit returns.hillhousehome.com to get started.

Gift exchanges are super easy at Hill House! Click this link to get to our self-service return portal https://returns.hillhousehome.com/#/. Once you enter your order number and select the "gift" option, you'll be given the choice to exchange for a different size or different item.
Please allow up to 7 business days for processing once your return is received and quality-checked at our warehouse. You can expect a refund within 10 business days of when your item is “delivered” and you will receive an email confirmation to the email address entered at time of purchase.
We kindly ask that for each return label generated, you only send back the items associated with that return label. Your return label is formulated based on the weight of the items you're returning, so combining multiple returns can cause the package to be returned to you. We also use the information printed on your shipping label to process your returns, so consolidating items from different returns will slow down the processing time for your refund.
Returns and exchanges for sale purchases follow our standard return policy, unless listed as Final Sale.
We're very sorry, but we're unable to offer returns or exchanges of Final Sale items. All Final Sale items have Final Sale messaging displayed on the product page and at checkout.
ShopPay Installments returns work the same way as returns using other payment methods.
We will gladly accept returns on items (except items marked "Final Sale”) for a full refund within 15 days from the time of delivery. Items must be unworn, undamaged, with the original packaging and tags attached. You have 3 business days from when you request your return to drop your package off with UPS.

Shoes that show any visible signs of wear will not be accepted for return ex. dirt, stains, scuffs, fabric frays, and indentation on the leather.
We ask that you take extra care when trying on our shoes. Please wear them on a soft, clean surface (a carpet or rug, etc.), and do not wear them outdoors until you know you love them.

Footwear must also include the original shoebox in like-new condition. Any shoes returned without the box or in a damaged shoe box will be rejected for return.

As required by law, sales tax is collected in select U.S states, sales tax for your state will be generated upon entering your shipping address and before your payment is processed.

This discount is also not valid during our annual sale and can not be used until the sale ends.

Purchase Quantity

In an effort to maximize the number of interested customers who have an opportunity to purchase, Hill House Home does not authorize the purchase of commercial quantities of our merchandise for resale. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to limit, cancel or prohibit orders that may be in violation of this policy. This policy applies to in-store and online purchases. We may modify this policy at any time without prior notice.
