The smocking on this dress makes it so comfortable. The straighter skirt also gives it a different look from the Ellie. Get your true size in this, one up from your Ellie size. The Navy Emma stripe is so vibrant and has lots of colors throughout, making it easy to accessorize. This dress made it through 95 degree heat in Europe! If you're on the fence, go for it--you won't regret it!

This dress is definitely one of my new favorites! As a long time lover of the Louisa dress, this is easily a close second! Its so flattering and comfortable. The material is a really good quality as well. This dress makes me feel like I’m living out my Elizabeth Bennett dreams!

This dress is so dreamy! The fabric is divine and the cut of the dress is very similar to the Louisa dress, which is probably my all time favorite. The navy stripe is even better in person. If you want to feel like Elizabeth Bennett, get the dress!

I absolutely love this dress. It is definitely bra friendly with the right bra. I absolutely LOVE Navy Emma Stripe print. The colors will be beautiful year round, and it is even more beautiful in person. I went with a Small in this dress, and I could have gone down to an XS as I usually do with the Scarlett. But, I am happy and comfortable in the Small. It does not have the same give as the Ellie (I go down to an XS in this dress). It can be dressed up or down, and the fabric is light enough to work in Summer as well. I usually wear a size 4-6 with a 32D bra size.

I love love love my Madeline Nap Dress! I have lately preferred dresses (Louisa, Matilda, Scarlett) with a bit of a sleeve so I could wear to business casual functions or get a little more year round wear out of them. Madeline is the best of both. It has the fully smocked bodice as with all the dresses with "nap" in the name, but the shape is a bit more streamlined without the ruffled bottom. It is said to be "bra-friendly," which I don't really find to be the case but I also have a larger bust so maybe that is just the types of bras I wear. I'll shop around for the right bra because this dress is worth it.
I also LOVE the Navy Emma Stripe print. It is less dainty and summery than some of the HH prints tend to be, so I truly plan to wear this dress through fall! The contrast stitching on the bodice is lovely and it is a beautiful, unique print.
