      Pretty in concept, disappointing in reality.

      Despite my incredibly high hopes, the Beverly pant is quite disappointing in person. I'm a solid XS in most smocked pieces and a small for structured items from HH. I ordered the XS in the Beverly and the waist, hips, and thighs all fit, but there is extra fabric around the hips where the seams bunch up thickly because they are sewn poorly/crookedly. The length is too short to break right at the ground, but is also not cropped enough to be a proper ankle style, so they flare awkwardly at an unflattering place above the top of your foot. The fabric quality and 1/4" thick waistband also leave a lot to be desired for a pair of pants that ultimately ended up costing $250 after tax and shipping. Unless you're petite/medium height and have a very slim, straight frame, keep looking. I'll give an extra star for the print because it is so cute and could be perfect for late-summer through winter.
