The Coraline Dress

I wanted to love this dress (In teal). The square neckline is really pretty, and in fact, the upper half of the dress in total is gorgeous. But the bottom has a strange, elongated a-line cut that makes the hem stick out, making me look more square than svelte and a little dowdy. The fabric is nice, but feels a little cheap for the price (it is nylon and acrylic, so it's not going to breathe), even though the dress itself is quite well made. On the right body this might work, but I'm not sure how to get past the boxiness of the skirt.

A beautiful dress! The stretch lace is soft and doesn't chafe the skin. I initially thought I'd need to go up a size due to the stretch aspect, but my usual nap dress size ended up being the best size for me. It's both elegant and very comfortable - I can't quite tell if this is dressy (from the elegance) or causual (from the comfort)...I guess it works well both ways!
