    Meet the wear-everywhere Nap Dress®.  It’s our signature garment; soft, comfortable, and pretty enough to wear all day and night. 

    The Ellie is an A-line Nap Dress® with our proprietary, elasticated Nap Smocking™, ruffled shoulders, tiered midi skirt, and pockets.

    We worked with artist Leïla Dubus to create a watercolor design based on vintage floral prints. We added subtle bows and a few hidden animals to keep it fun.

      LOVE!!!

      Love the Peony Chintz pattern on the Ellie Nap Dress. The peonies are so stunning and springy. Also so appreciate that the dress is 100% cotton - very rare in 2026. Although I normally were a Medium, I ordered this dress in a Small because it is so stretchy and the Small helps with the shorter length as someone who is 5’1.5”. Cannot get enough of this dress!

      Favorite Style!

      The Ellie dress is my favorite style dress. It is bra friendly. I love the red stripe print. Previous reviews said this style was not lined but this new dress is, so hopefully all Ellie dresses in the future will be lined. Some reviews said they sized down in this dress, but I took my normal size small (34B, 131 lbs., 5’6”).

      Compliments!

      Loved this dress when I saw it in person in the Charleston shop. Such a pretty pattern and adorable fit. Everywhere we went, I got a compliment on this dress! It does run on the big side... I'm always a medium but liked the way a small fit in this dress better. The medium bunched a bit in the smocking around the rib cage and just had a little too much material in the skirting. So, size down if in between :)
