You know that feeling when you wake up in a hotel room and throw on a cozy robe to eat a leisurely breakfast? We wanted to bring that vacation feeling home, so we made the Hotel Robe. Each robe is super soft, ultra-absorbent, and made in Portugal from 100% Zero Twist Micro Cotton.

      Cheap!!

The material feels cheap, nothing like an actual hotel robe. Bought this as a bridal shower gift and got it embroidered so there's no way to return it. I'm extremely disappointed.

      Odd fit for me

I ordered a L/XL. I'm 5'5" and 175 lb for reference. I so wanted this to be perfect. The material is great, plush and heavy (possibly too heavy for someone who is not physically strong, such as a frail elder). I wanted a warm cotton --not synthetic-- robe for this winter and there are not a lot of options out there. To its credit, it is warm. I took one star off because someone else might have the same issue: it's a really odd cut, for me. It feels like it's made for a shorter and even wider woman who also has longer arms. The belt and pockets are placed too high, the sleeves are too long, and the cuffs are a nuisance Because the pockets are set high, I have to bend my arms rather far back to get into them--having to work at that is annoying. Pockets should be low and easily slipped into for a tissue or glasses. Likewise the belt loops are set almost at empire-waist level, which hikes the robe up uncomfortably when I reach for something. The sleeves are quite long, oddly disproportionate to the placement of the belt and pockets, and are set at the end with large deep cuffs. These cuffs get in the way of everything --sometimes dangerously so, such as working at a stove-- and are too bulky to fold back easily. They're not suited for kitchen activity, anyway. After a couple of months of these irritants I finally took out my seam ripper and removed the cuffs and the belt loops. I reset the belt loops as far down as they could go, which is just at the top of the pockets. That…
