      Almost a diamond

      Ugh! I am so frustrated. I wanted to love this dress so bad. Whilst the color is beautiful, and the fabric is lovely, I must agree with the previous reviewer. The straps are super stretchy, causing the dress to pull down. The dress itself seems to be running generous as well. I did not need to use the zipper to put it on. I wish the straps were not stretchy like the other zipper dresses I purchased this season. I love the color and the style so much I am contemplating taking to my seamstress to get it right, but the again at this price point I feel like it should be just right ... I am on the fence , received it today , I will sleep on it and make my final decision in the am.... I wish the Maisie set came in theis print/ color/ fabric.

      Structurally Unsound

      I have the Maisie set and ADORE it. I’m 34C, 5’8” and 128lbs. 36-27-33 measurements, and the small top and small skirt fit me SO perfectly. I got the small in the Maisie dress, and while the circumference of the bust fits well, the waist is a bit bigger—comfortable and not as snatched as I’d like. The main problem is that the fabric of the dress is heavy, and the straps are entirely scrunched elastic. As a result, the bodice pulls much lower than the Maisie crop top. It’s not flattering. Over time, the straps will likely stretch out and the dress will sag even lower. Overall, you should get the Maisie set—you won’t regret it. Pass on the Maisie dress.
