The Matilda Dress

This is my second Matilda...I wasn't planning on getting another one, but the prints they put on her...well, I just had to have it. Like my other Matilda, she flares out beautifully under the bust. I am rather large chested, and while this dress absolutely fits great, it is a little lower cut in the front than I prefer. Lucky for me, my tailor knows how to add a little trim to give me a bit more cleavage coverage! I normally wear a S in Ellie, although I have a M in Ellie, too, and I take a M in this dress (M is my "normal" HHH size). I am short, so this is full length on me, not a midi, and I love that. Please keep making these stunning prints--I love the darker colors. HHH does pastels and light color palettes wonderfully, and, I think that having these more fall/winter colors does add something to the repetoire.

I was on the fence but ended up trying the Matilda cut. I don’t think I have ever put on a dress that made me feel so myself. It’s flattering, forgiving, and so beautiful. I immediately came back and bought another color! It is a little tight in the chest, but for me, that ensures there is no gaping when leaning forward

Love these autumn colors, but if you have any chest at all size up 1 or even 2 sizes. I am 5'3", 120 lbs, C cup and a Large would have been tight. My usual HH size is XS. Unfortunately having to return this beauty.
