    The Gold Standard

    I held off for years on purchasing the classic Hill House dress, largely because I thought I could find cheaper dupes elsewhere. Surprise! There just isn't a dupe for this amazing dress. Not only did it arrive earlier than expected, but I've already worn it a dozen times in just the first few weeks of owning it. It even held up during a weekend wedding trip: perfect for strolling in the late summer humidity *and* a full day of traveling afterward. I've already bought a second!

    P.S. The notorious size down instructions are correct! I'm a pretty consistent Small/Size 4 and the XS is perfect.

    Perfect as Always

    This is not my first Ellie Nap Dress, so I knew what to expect and it did not disappoint. I love that this dress can be dressed down as a swim cover-up and also with espadrilles for a more dressed up look. What keeps me coming back for more though is the side seam pockets and the fact that the dress is flattering to many different sizes, which makes it great for group matching outfits (say for family photos).

    Beautiful print and fits well

    I love this dress. The print is gorgeous and the dress fits nicely. I will say it feels a bit long and I feel a bit matronly, so I put my sewing skills to the test and removed the top tier of the dress and it is a perfect midi dress now. Though I had to put in some work to make it fit how I wanted, I would do it again.
