Applause to HHH for this black dress. I don’t want to be bare in the winter and this dress looks formal (can definitely be dressed up) but will keep you warm. Second the other reviewer who said shapewear will make you feel best when wearing this one. (I’m 5’3, size 12/large in most brands, and large was good for this dress.) The neckline is versatile and so feminine. The fabric is substantial and while I do not tolerate itchy fabrics well, I could manage this one. I would love to own this dress in a deep claret or burgundy… would work beautifully for winter holidays… Santa, are you listening? :)

This dress was just delivered today, and after I tried it on, I didn't want to take it off! I'm very busty (32HH) with larger hips and a smaller waist and I typically wear a US 12. I got this dress in a size XL, and it fits perfectly! I'm 5'8'' and the hem of the skirt hits me right about mid-calf. The skirt falls elegantly and I love the way it moves when I walk. The fabric has some stretch to it so it easily accommodates my chest and hips, and it the way it clings to my waist is super flattering. You will see some "rolls" with this dress, so definitely wear your favorite shapewear underneath if you want to smooth things out. I think the dress will be perfect for a slightly more dressed up winter date night, holiday parties, etc. It feels thick and substantial, and if you care for it properly, it's a classic piece that you could have in your wardrobe for YEARS and not get tired of.
