This beautiful dress is so light! I got a size M because of the material, but I usually size down to XS or S for Ellie. The print looks a bit darker in person, but when the light hits this dress, it shimmers perfectly. Totally in love with this fun dress! I just wore this to an Autumn wedding and got many compliments while I danced comfortably all night. I was going to wear gold heels, but ended up wearing black platforms and black jewels…

This dress is fab. Nell wasn’t joking when she said the fabric was super supple and soft. For something with metallic thread in its matrix, this dress is super flowy and defies physics.
The colors are vibrant in person, but I wouldn’t say it is strictly a holiday dress. It will take you through the fall into winter comfortable. Throw a black jacket or sweater on it and you can wear it to the office. It has a sheen but it’s not insane.
It runs a little big. If you are in between two Ellie sizes, go for the smaller one. Or take a risk and size down one. I’m a M/L in Ellie and I would probably go for a small.

This is my second ribbon tie Ellie so I got another small. I tried it on and I thought it was pretty, no biggie…then, I wore it outside to my daughter’s soccer game, on a sunny Autumn day, and that’s when I really noticed the true beauty of this print! I love the pink raspberry ribbons too!
