    Love the dress and fabric.. I did get it taken in just under buntline to make it look more slenderizing

    Very 1968

    This is a dress that would be perfect for a bride-to-be or a dressy garden party. The fabric is nice, stiff, and substantial. It is very long - this was a maxi on me at 5’1. The straps are wide set, so if you have small shoulders you might need to attach them to your bra with a clip. That said, you wouldn’t want them closer together if you want to maintain the look - it is a really nice portrait effect where they were added originally.

    Even though it is a long dress the Marseille pattern elongates you. It would go with heels like the model has, but also retro slippers if you want to lean in to that vintage look.

    I am a street Size 16 and 38D, and I found even the Large was a little big. Medium worked well - and the good news is sizing down with a large chest doesn’t distort the geometric pattern. A winner.
